The Griffiths Gnat imitates egg-laying adult midges and emerging midges and is useful during midge hatches. Created by George Griffith, this simple fly has an excellent 50% above/below float to represent a stuck fly. Hatches are normally in the evening but during late summer months you may encounter a morning hatch.
